6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt and pepper, to taste
3/4 cup barbecue sauce
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment.
Pat thighs dry and coat with olive oil.
Season both sides with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
Place skin-side up on the tray.
Bake for 25 minutes.
Brush with BBQ sauce.
Bake for another 15–20 minutes until internal temperature reaches 175°F.
Broil for 2–3 minutes for a caramelized glaze.
