A flavorful one-pan meal combining seasoned ground beef, crispy French fries, and melted cheddar cheese—topped with all your favorite burger fixings.

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (80/20 recommended)
1/2 yellow onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp yellow mustard
16 oz frozen French fries
2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1/4 cup dill pickle slices (optional)
Optional toppings: chopped tomato, shredded lettuce, crumbled bacon

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425°F.

  • Brown ground beef in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Cook for 6–8 minutes. Drain excess fat.

  • Add onion and cook until softened, about 3 minutes. Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds more.

  • Mix in ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.

  • Spread frozen fries evenly over the top—do not mix.

  • Bake for 20–25 minutes until fries are crispy.

  • Sprinkle shredded cheese over fries. Return to oven for 5–7 minutes until melted.

  • Let sit for 5 minutes. Add pickles or desired toppings and serve.
