Quick-seared steak bites tossed in a buttery garlic and herb sauce with zesty lemon and mustard. A bold, satisfying dish perfect for appetizers or dinner.
1.5 lbs sirloin steak, cubed
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tbsp olive oil
4 tbsp unsalted butter
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
2 tbsp chopped parsley
1 tbsp chopped chives
Dry steak cubes and season with salt and pepper.
Heat oil in a skillet over high heat. Sear steak in batches, 1.5–2 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
Lower heat, melt butter in skillet.
Add garlic, cooking for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Stir in mustard, lemon juice, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Simmer briefly.
Return steak to skillet, toss to coat in sauce.
Stir in herbs and serve immediately.
