Quick-seared steak bites tossed in a buttery garlic and herb sauce with zesty lemon and mustard. A bold, satisfying dish perfect for appetizers or dinner.

Ingredients

1.5 lbs sirloin steak, cubed
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tbsp olive oil
4 tbsp unsalted butter
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
2 tbsp chopped parsley
1 tbsp chopped chives

Instructions

  • Dry steak cubes and season with salt and pepper.

  • Heat oil in a skillet over high heat. Sear steak in batches, 1.5–2 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.

  • Lower heat, melt butter in skillet.

  • Add garlic, cooking for 30 seconds until fragrant.

  • Stir in mustard, lemon juice, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Simmer briefly.

  • Return steak to skillet, toss to coat in sauce.

  • Stir in herbs and serve immediately.
