Creamy Oven-Baked Chicken Thighs features tender chicken cooked in a smooth garlic cream sauce, all finished in one pan.
6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup chicken broth
1 small onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon dried thyme
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard (optional)
Heat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Season chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika.
Brown chicken in butter; remove from pan.
Cook onion, then garlic, in the same skillet.
Add broth, cream, and mustard; warm gently.
Return chicken, skin-side up.
Bake uncovered until chicken is cooked through.
