These juicy Greek turkey meatballs are packed with herbs and garlic, served with a creamy homemade tzatziki sauce. A fresh, healthy Mediterranean-inspired meal.

For the Meatballs:

  • 1 lb ground turkey (93% lean)

  • 1/4 cup red onion, grated

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped (or 1 tsp dried)

  • 1 tsp dried oregano

  • 1 tsp lemon zest

  • 1/3 cup breadcrumbs or panko

  • 1 egg

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

For the Tzatziki Sauce:

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt

  • 1/2 cucumber, grated and drained

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Grate cucumber, squeeze dry, and combine all tzatziki ingredients. Chill.

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment.

  • In a bowl, combine all meatball ingredients. Mix gently.

  • Form into 1.5-inch meatballs and place on baking sheet.

  • Bake for 18–22 minutes or until golden and cooked through.

  • Serve with chilled tzatziki sauce.
