A cheesy, creamy chicken casserole layered with crushed Doritos for the perfect blend of bold flavor and crunchy texture. A quick and comforting dish for any occasion.

Ingredients

3 cups cooked shredded chicken
1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
1 cup sour cream or plain Greek yogurt
1 (10 oz) can diced tomatoes with green chilies, drained
1 packet taco seasoning
2½ cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
1 (9.75 oz) bag Nacho Cheese Doritos, lightly crushed
Optional: green onions, black beans, corn

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish.

  • In a large bowl, combine chicken, soup, sour cream, tomatoes, taco seasoning, and 1½ cups cheese.

  • Layer crushed Doritos on the bottom of the dish.

  • Spread half the chicken mixture over the chips.

  • Add another layer of crushed Doritos and the rest of the chicken mixture.

  • Top with remaining 1 cup of cheese.

  • Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, until hot and bubbly.

  • Just before serving, sprinkle more crushed Doritos on top and garnish with green onions if desired.
