1 1/2 pounds fresh green beans, trimmed
4 cloves garlic, minced
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/4 cup chicken broth
1/3 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  • Trim and wash green beans, then place in slow cooker.
  • Mix butter, olive oil, garlic, broth, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  • Pour over beans and toss to coat.
  • Cook on low for 3–4 hours until tender.
  • Sprinkle Parmesan 20 minutes before serving and stir gently.
  • Adjust seasoning and serve warm
