A fun and comforting meal where toasted garlic bread bowls are filled with spaghetti and cheese, then baked to golden perfection.
For the bread bowls:
4 small crusty bread rolls or boules
1/3 cup butter, melted
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp chopped parsley or Italian seasoning
1/4 cup Parmesan, grated
For the spaghetti:
8 oz dry spaghetti
1 tbsp olive oil
2 cups marinara sauce
1/2 lb ground meat or sausage (optional)
1 cup shredded mozzarella
1/4 cup Parmesan
Salt and pepper, to tast
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Slice tops off rolls and remove centers to create bowls.
Combine butter, garlic, and herbs; brush on bread.
Sprinkle Parmesan inside and bake for 10 minutes.
Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and toss with olive oil.
Brown meat (if using), stir in marinara, and simmer.
Mix pasta with sauce and half the cheese.
Fill bowls with spaghetti, top with cheese, and bake 8–10 minutes.
