A quick and flavorful stir fry with tender beef, fresh vegetables, and a sweet-savory honey soy sauce. Perfect for busy nights and easily customizable.

Ingredients

1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
2 tbsp cornstarch
1 tbsp neutral oil
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 cup broccoli florets
1 cup snap peas
3 green onions, sliced
1 tbsp sesame seeds
1 tsp sesame oil (optional)

Sauce:
1/4 cup soy sauce
3 tbsp honey
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp grated ginger
2 tbsp water

Instructions

  • Slice and pat dry beef. Toss with cornstarch.

  • Mix sauce ingredients and set aside.

  • Heat oil in a hot pan, sear beef in batches for 3–4 minutes. Remove and set aside.

  • Stir fry vegetables for 3–4 minutes.

  • Return beef to pan, pour in sauce, stir, and simmer 2–3 minutes.

  • Turn off heat, add sesame oil, and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.

  • Serve over rice, noodles, or greens.
