A quick and flavorful stir fry with tender beef, fresh vegetables, and a sweet-savory honey soy sauce. Perfect for busy nights and easily customizable.
1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
2 tbsp cornstarch
1 tbsp neutral oil
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 cup broccoli florets
1 cup snap peas
3 green onions, sliced
1 tbsp sesame seeds
1 tsp sesame oil (optional)
Sauce:
1/4 cup soy sauce
3 tbsp honey
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp grated ginger
2 tbsp water
Slice and pat dry beef. Toss with cornstarch.
Mix sauce ingredients and set aside.
Heat oil in a hot pan, sear beef in batches for 3–4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
Stir fry vegetables for 3–4 minutes.
Return beef to pan, pour in sauce, stir, and simmer 2–3 minutes.
Turn off heat, add sesame oil, and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
Serve over rice, noodles, or greens.
