Tender asparagus spears wrapped in juicy beef slices, creating a crisp-tender, savory dish perfect for appetizers or sides.

Ingredients

1 pound fresh asparagus
1/2 pound thinly sliced beef (ribeye, sirloin, or flank)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)
Fresh thyme or rosemary sprigs (optional)
Balsamic reduction for drizzling (optional)

Instructions

  • Wash and trim asparagus, pat dry.
  • Season beef with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Wrap asparagus with beef slices.
  • Heat skillet over medium-high, add olive oil, sear bundles seam-side down 2–3 minutes.
  • Turn to sear all sides, cook 8–10 minutes total.
  • Optional: drizzle soy sauce and add sesame seeds or herbs in last 2 minutes.
  • Remove, rest briefly, drizzle balsamic reduction if desired.
