A cheesy, savory combination of crispy potatoes and smoked sausage seasoned with ranch and topped with melty cheddar. Quick, comforting, and perfect for any night of the week.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs potatoes, diced

  • 14 oz smoked sausage, sliced

  • 1 packet ranch seasoning (about 1 oz)

  • 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Chopped parsley or green onions for garnish

Instructions

  • Par-cook diced potatoes by microwaving or boiling for 5–7 minutes.

  • In a large skillet, brown the sausage slices and set aside.

  • Add potatoes to the same pan with oil and half of the ranch seasoning. Cook until golden and crispy.

  • Return sausage to the skillet, sprinkle remaining ranch mix, and stir to combine.

  • Top with cheese, cover, and let melt on low heat.

  • Garnish and serve hot.
