Creamy Lemon Garlic Pasta combines silky cream, tangy lemon, and aromatic garlic into a luscious, restaurant-style meal.
8 ounces spaghetti or fettuccine
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon lemon zest
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water and drain.
Melt butter with olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté garlic for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
Reduce heat to low, add heavy cream, and stir for 2–3 minutes. Gradually stir in Parmesan until smooth. Adjust thickness with reserved pasta water.
Stir in lemon zest and juice. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
