A rich and creamy garlic parmesan chicken pasta made in one skillet, this high-protein meal delivers bold flavor and comfort in every bite. Ideal for weeknights or meal prep.
1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breast, diced
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter, divided
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 cups chicken broth
2 cups short-cut pasta (penne or rotini)
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup freshly grated parmesan
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Fresh chopped parsley or basil
Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Heat 1 tbsp oil and 1 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium-high.
Add chicken, sear until browned and cooked through. Set aside.
Reduce heat, melt remaining butter, and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
Pour in broth and scrape browned bits.
Add pasta, cover, and cook 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Lower heat, add cream and parmesan, stirring until smooth.
Return chicken to pan, stir to coat.
Garnish with fresh herbs and serve hot.
