1.5 lbs boneless chicken (breasts or thighs), cut into bite-sized pieces
2 tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp oil (neutral, such as canola)
3 tbsp unsalted butter
1/4 cup honey
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp lemon zest
1 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
Optional: chopped green onion or parsley for garnish
Cut and pat dry the chicken.
Toss chicken with salt, garlic powder, and cornstarch.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high. Cook chicken 6–8 minutes until golden and fully cooked.
In a small saucepan, melt butter. Add honey, lemon juice, zest, and pepper. Simmer until smooth.
Pour glaze over chicken and toss to coat. Simmer 1–2 more minutes.
Garnish and serve hot.
