1 lb ground turkey (93% lean)
1 egg
1/3 cup gluten-free breadcrumbs
2 green onions, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp tamari or soy sauce
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp olive or avocado oil
For the Sauce:
1/3 cup honey
3 tbsp tamari or soy sauce
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp cornstarch
2 tbsp water
In a large bowl, mix ground turkey, egg, breadcrumbs, green onions, garlic, tamari, salt, and pepper.
Form into 18–20 meatballs.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Brown meatballs on all sides for 6–8 minutes.
In a bowl, whisk together honey, tamari, vinegar, garlic, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water.
Add sauce to skillet, cover, and simmer for 7–8 minutes until sauce thickens and meatballs are fully cooked.
Serve hot with your choice of sides.
