A simple one-skillet dinner made with seasoned ground beef, colorful bell peppers, rice, tomato sauce, and melted cheese—ready in just 30 minutes.

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef
1 tbsp olive oil
1 small yellow onion, diced
3 garlic cloves, minced
3 bell peppers, chopped
2 cups cooked rice
1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper, to taste
1½ cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Chopped parsley or scallions (optional garnish)

Instructions

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, about 6–8 minutes. Drain excess fat.

  • Add onion and garlic. Cook for 2–3 minutes until softened.

  • Stir in bell peppers and cook for 5–6 minutes.

  • Add cooked rice, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and Italian seasoning. Mix well.

  • Lower the heat and let it simmer for 5–7 minutes.

  • Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.

  • Sprinkle cheese over the top, cover, and cook for 3–4 minutes until melted.

  • Garnish with parsley or scallions and serve warm.
