A simple one-skillet dinner made with seasoned ground beef, colorful bell peppers, rice, tomato sauce, and melted cheese—ready in just 30 minutes.
1 lb ground beef
1 tbsp olive oil
1 small yellow onion, diced
3 garlic cloves, minced
3 bell peppers, chopped
2 cups cooked rice
1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper, to taste
1½ cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Chopped parsley or scallions (optional garnish)
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, about 6–8 minutes. Drain excess fat.
Add onion and garlic. Cook for 2–3 minutes until softened.
Stir in bell peppers and cook for 5–6 minutes.
Add cooked rice, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and Italian seasoning. Mix well.
Lower the heat and let it simmer for 5–7 minutes.
Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
Sprinkle cheese over the top, cover, and cook for 3–4 minutes until melted.
Garnish with parsley or scallions and serve warm.
