Ingredients

8 oz spaghetti or long pasta
6–8 cloves garlic, sliced or minced
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter
2½ cups low-sodium broth (chicken or vegetable)
1 cup heavy cream
¾ cup freshly grated Parmesan
Salt and pepper to taste
Red pepper flakes (optional)
Fresh parsley or basil, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  • In a large skillet, heat oil and butter over medium heat.

  • Add garlic and cook 1–2 minutes until soft and fragrant.

  • Pour in broth and cream; bring to a light simmer.

  • Add pasta and cook for 10–12 minutes, stirring often.

  • Reduce heat and mix in Parmesan until fully melted.

  • Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
