8 oz spaghetti or long pasta
6–8 cloves garlic, sliced or minced
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter
2½ cups low-sodium broth (chicken or vegetable)
1 cup heavy cream
¾ cup freshly grated Parmesan
Salt and pepper to taste
Red pepper flakes (optional)
Fresh parsley or basil, chopped, for garnish
In a large skillet, heat oil and butter over medium heat.
Add garlic and cook 1–2 minutes until soft and fragrant.
Pour in broth and cream; bring to a light simmer.
Add pasta and cook for 10–12 minutes, stirring often.
Reduce heat and mix in Parmesan until fully melted.
